Interim Medical Director
Hello. I am an ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist who earned my medical degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. I completed my psychiatry residency at the University of Texas, San Antonio Health Science Center. Early in my career, I served as an active-duty physician at Brooke Army Medical Center, first as adjunct faculty and later as Chief of the Psychiatry Consultation Service. I then became the Medical Director of the Mental Health Clinic at the U.S. Air Force Academy. After completing my military service, I founded Rinnova Psychiatry in Colorado Springs.
I value holistic approaches alongside evidence-based care. I trained at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) in the clinical facilitation of ketamine- and psilocybin-assisted therapy. I also serve pro bono on Colorado’s Natural Medicine Special Advisory Board and advocate locally for veteran mental health and expanded access to natural medicines.
Sustainable, evidence-based treatment and support to reduce stigma and to promote education and advocacy, working collectively to create a world where mental health is an accessible priority for all.
