How Our Program Works?

Initial Assessment

Every individual has their own unique circumstances and challenges that caused them to seek mental health treatment. Our licensed clinicians will conduct a thorough assessment to uncover those unique experiences. This assessment along with collateral information from family members, schools, or other partner agencies will help create a treatment plan and goals specific to that individual.

IOP programming is designed for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. During this time the individual will participate in:

  • Psychoeducational education
  • Process group using evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, or some other modality
  • We provide both virtual and in person appointments

Each group or “cohort” will have 10-12 individuals who will program for 8-12 weeks. Outcome measure are used to help both the therapist and the individual determine treatment progress and that the treatment goals are being achieved.

Alumni Program

The alumni program is an exciting opportunity that is exclusively reserved for the graduates of our IOP program. The primary objective of this program is to establish and maintain lifelong connections between the alumni and the amazing people with whom attended together. This connection can help former members network with fellow graduates, stay up to date with news and events related to their time in our program, support one another, and benefit from various services offered by Lokiten Behavorial Health.

Our alumni program consists of some combination of:

  • Fun social events
  • Professional networking opportunities
  • Mentoring programs
  • Quarterly functions such a hiking, bowling, or other team building opportunities.

Overall, our program aims to foster a sense of community and pride among the alumni, while also providing them with ongoing support and opportunities to stay engaged with their care providers.
